Just a minute ago Helaine was trying to makes sure she and Steffie were registered with United Airlines frequent flier program. They’re flying to the Midwest in February and we’ve found getting miles, even when you think you’ll never accrue enough to count, is a good thing. Sometimes, it even pays off.
She went to the page where you establish an online account, entered her name and pulled down the menu to get the prefix “Mrs.” entered. I was looking over her shoulder and was astounded by the myriad choices available.
If you are a Swami, United has you covered!

His trip to Microsoft.com sucked simply put and he documented his grief in intricate detail and with obvious anger. The interviewer showed Gates the email and asked if he remembered it?
The cone starts narrow and widens over time. The idea is the farther out a forecast goes the more fudge factor is necessary. With Hurricane Earl as close as it is we are now on the outside of the narrow end of the cone.

I am surprised by the Hurricane Center's forecast. The 'out days' center of the track is well offshore, though the Maryland shore to the Canadian Maritimes are all within the cone of uncertainty.
On the afternoon of Katrina's Gulf landfall I remember an AccuWeather meteorologist appearing on Fox News to say New Orleans had dodged the bullet--and it had! The New Orleans flooding didn't come until late Monday evening long after Katrina's strongest winds were gone.
The sculpture sits behind the Giaimo Federal Office Building in a courtyard between Orange and Church Streets. The church itself is on College Street on the far side of the green.
