Too Cold Too Early

It’s 27.1° as I sit down at the keyboard to type this entry. Too effin’ cold! It’s after midnight and the wind is still blowing. That’s uncommon here in the land of steady habits.

We’re still a month away from winter yet over the next week there is little, if any, relief.

I know some of you read this in warmer spots and you’re chuckling. If you once suffered the winter you’re probably glad you no longer have to put up with this garbage. I’ve got four months to go.

  1. Geoff, I feel your pain, but the warmer spots aren’t too warm this morning. We moved from Branford to Charleston, SC three years ago and are now hitting the coldest temps we’ve seen yet.

As I sit here this morning, the reading is 33 degrees!

Time to dig out my coat!

All we need is 6″ or more of snow and it would be perfect.

  3. Terry says:

beautiful here in AZ – 85 during the day and 50’s at night. No AC or heating bills

I’m with Jim, although 6″ in my eyes is nothing more than a good start! Geoff, you need to embrace winter ’round these parts!

I’m guessing I’m too old to learn… and much too uncoordinated!

6″ is just a start…didn’t want to be greedy.
