My Geekiest Photo Ever

While playing poker at the Venetian (fav place to play) I noticed texting on your cellphone was OK.

“Are laptops OK too?” I asked semi-kiddingly.

They are! I uploaded the photos for my last blog entry while playing poker at the Venetian.

With the laptop on my lap I passed my cellphone to Dan, sitting next to me at Table 26. His picture is my geekiest photo ever!

In some states photos like this are grounds for divorce!

Thinkpad X220 Geoff? How do you like it?

  2. Kyle says:

I was gonna say – good choice with the ThinkPad!

  3. Brenden says:

The thinkpads are extremely well built, but are not known for gaming though! If you are buying a new computer make sure it has Windows 7, because Windows XP is loosing support.

Haha you call THAT geeky? Whatchoo talkin’ bout bro? In that photo you just look like a good guy havin’ a good time to me!

  5. Alan says:

I hate ChinkPads. As a former IBM’er I know. They are OK but that’s it. It’s just a re-branded Lenovo.

  6. Theresa says:

Multi-tasking at it’s ‘best’. Being in and enjoying the moment playing poker in Vegas – not so much?

  7. Liza Zajac Whitehead says:

I’m shocked they allowed it at the table. One would think there’s some sort of card counting app out there.

  8. Laurie Blair says:

    That is HYSTERICAL!!!!

  9. Aubrey Fletcher says:

LOL…. If that was me, and my wife even saw me doing that, my laptop would be out the window!!

  10. Erika says:

    What lighthouse is your wallpaper??

    • Gail Benson says:

That lighthouse is one of the choices that comes with Windows7 – I use it too Geoff! Good choice.

  11. Cherie says:

That looks like a lot of chips in front of you…was it a good night or the beginning of the night??

Thanks for bringing us along on your vacation! I think this picture is my favorite!

Just this afternoon my tech-savvy son-in-law said he sometimes wished there weren’t any computers, cell phones, etc. He said it seemed like an “easier life” back then. LOL – he’s not even that old!! Sometimes I have to agee with him – although I won’t get in my car without my cellphone. Oh, not to talk while driving, but in case of emergency.

Then, of course, I had to go on Facebook the minute I got home! LOL
