So Sweet

Frisky is not a word normally associated with Doppler. She is laid back. She’s two bars on the battery charge indicator. She wanted to be engaged.

dippy sleeping

I am upstairs at my desk. Doppler is behind me, asleep on a blanket that’s there for her. It’s not one of her favorite spots. Helaine’s gone for a few days. Doppler wants company.

We went out a little while ago. Sprinklers are on tonight. I picked her up when she was done, then carried her upstairs like a loaf of bread. Very trusting. She’s used to being transported.

I got down on my hands and knees to give her some rubs, but she was frisky. Frisky is not a word normally associated with Doppler. She is laid back. She’s two bars on the battery charge indicator. She wanted to be engaged.

We played. We made the game up on-the-spot. She’d run to me, then as soon as she reached me she’d run back to her blanket. She waited for me to call her again and again and again.

She’s a little shaggy. Her hair was tousled. She’d stand there, looking up at me, still a little winded from her last run. She looked happy.

We played until she was exhausted. She’s small. It doesn’t take much.

She’s out. So sweet.
