Here’s what I learned over the weekend: I suck at being a bachelor. I spent most of my time hanging around in pajamas deciding what not to do next. Wrong generation, but I guess I’m still a slacker.

IMAG2868I made the bed and emptied the washer and dryer. I’m still scouting to see where I left a mess. Helaine is on her way home after a weekend with Cousin Melissa. I need to return the house to its former condition.

Here’s what I learned over the weekend: I suck at being a bachelor. I spent most of my time hanging around in pajamas deciding what not to do next. Wrong generation, but I guess I’m still a slacker.

If Helaine hadn’t left food and other necessities, I’d be hungry. Now I know why I was skinny as a bachelor. I was too lazy to forage for food.

It was lonely while she was gone. Day-by-day I spoke more-and-more to Doppler. By yesterday it was full paragraphs. If only Doppler could answer, or at least shake her head in agreement.

She arrives within the hour. Time for one last scouting trip for dirty dishes.
