These three Mexican men drove up to the field we were in in a small truck. They were very friendly and offered us wine and other adult beverages. These were upscale guys, and Gilles said at least one was from a prominent Colima family and one worked for the government.

Though he had lived his life in Colima, one said this was his first time at this particular vantage.
