Some of what's bad with what's good. The cement lamp post is on the upper level of the Temple Street Garage.

New Haven Coliseum. The parking structure encompasses the building. What were they thinking? Didn't anyone look at a rendering before this was erected. As dysfunctional inside at it was ugly outside.*

The, now closed, New Haven Coliseum is flanked by the Knights of Columbus headquarters building. These two structures are on the periphery of Downtown New Haven.

There is something very appealing and very un-New York City about this lunch cart on Chapel Street in New Haven.

As most New England cities, New Haven's downtown is centered around a green. This is looking northeast toward Elm Street.

Again, looking across the green toward Elm Street. Both the buildings which dominate this photo are owned and named for banks. Both have changed names recently and I can't for the life of me remember either.

The day this picture was taken I saw motorcycle, bicycle and mounted police. This seemed like the best duty for the day. Taken at the southwest entrance to the green across from Chapel Street, New Haven.*

These mums (I think) planted streetside in Downtown New Haven.

More of the Yale campus. It was actually in front of this very gate that I did a Good Morning America/Sunday weather cut-in and was 'discovered' by Jack Reilly, then producer. Jack's no longer there. Me too.

Much of Yale's architecture is dark and standoffish. This looks more like a castle than a dorm.
