What can I say? The weather was perfect. The crowd was large and spirited. The kids made it all worthwhile. There are few more rewarding ways to spend a Sunday morning than working on behalf of JDRF.
The station was good enough to send a live truck and reporter, and I did the 8:35 AM liveshot with a mother and diabetic daughter.
Last year I shot video, this year I shot stills… over 400 of them. This was really a race against the shutter, seeing how many I could pop off. I’m not sure what I’ll do with them, but it’s always possible to set them to music.
