Helaine points out, Home Depot is currently running a TV ad for a “Fall Sale.” While they advertise a ladder, the text at the bottom of the screen invites you to click on www.homedepot.com/fall.
Does anyone else feel that ‘fall’ is the wrong word to associate with a ladder?

I thought the same thing as you did when seeing that commercial. Having, five weeks ago, fallen off my step ladder while pruning trees in the backyard breaking my arm in two places and dislocating my wrist trying to break my fall. You wouldn’t think that much damage can be done from falling off a six foot step ladder but believe me it can. I guess you don’t bounce off the ground as well at 40 as you do at 25. How well. Live, learn and get older. Safely.
