Tomorrow morning I am flying to Florida to see my parents. I haven’t seen them in a while, have some time to take and found an airfare that makes it easier to understand why airlines are going broke.
This will be a non-stop flight. Judging by the seat selection chart it will be full. I apologize to the people sitting next to me or near me.
I am getting over this cold, but it’s obvious I still have it. I’m still coughing and sneezing. At the moment I shouldn’t be operating heavy machinery. I’m feeling a little ‘cream cheesy.’
In the past I have sat next to people who, like me, don’t want to be infecting strangers. The airlines give you little choice. There is no option to change the itinerary because of a cold.
I’m sure 5 days in 75º weather will be helpful. It couldn’t hurt.
