Ray Flynn called this morning while I was still asleep. Helaine said he sounded awful. I called him back. Helaine was right.
Unfortunately for our movie, Ray was an integral piece. He was our videographer. He was willing to let me use his equipment, but it wouldn’t make sense without him.
The really sad part is, Ray was looking forward to this as much as anyone… maybe more. But, he’s got a family and a business and this weekend in bed will serve him well.
There will be other contests. There will be more movies.
