Working in New York City this morning was fun, but I was a fish out of water. I didn’t know the crew or the systems necessary to feed a dozen or more individual stations.
My savior was Chika Okafor, the producer. Chika’s job was to coordinate the whole shooting match. It was she I queried, “Who are the anchors?” or “What’s the weatherman’s first name?” She was my organized side – and I couldn’t have done anything without her.
I will post more flattering pictures of Chika later, but this sort of summarizes our early morning plight, out in the cold rain on the Upper West Side.
Is She any relation to Omaka Okafor that played at UConn?
She says Okafor is the equivalent of Smith!
