Stuff Happens

I work with very nice people, but sometimes what you say isn’t quite what you meant to say!

Here’s the perfect example (11 second “Flash” video).

Again, they’re very nice people… fun to be with. Stuff happens.

Blogger’s note: I originally put the video here on the webpage until I realized you’d get it every single time you came here! I’ve had to figure out a better way. Now it’s being hosted by VideoEgg – a New Haven company. Cool technology, but I have no idea how they’ll make money (Hopefully they know).

  1. I think the Citizen Journalism component is fascinating and will be discussed extensively. I expect we will see more good Citizen Journalism like this in the future.

However, there is another important component, the Public Relations side. As I commented over on a PR Blog, the whole incident, particularly the way it is dealt with in the blogosphere has ‘future B-school case study’ written all over it.

I look forward to seeing what PR/blogger types have to say about it.

I don’t know which PR firm Alaska Airlines uses, but if I were them I’d sure be looking for a PR firm that was blog savvy.
