Two Sides Of One Story

A huge picture of Rush Limbaugh and equally huge headline on Drudge tonight: “Not Guilty.”

On The Huffington Post, at the very same time, a smaller headline (and not their lead story): “Rush Limbaugh Arrested On Drug Charges.”

If Huffington is to be believed, the giant photo from Drudge is Limbaugh’s booking photo.

So, which is it?

It looks like a deal has been reached between Rush and the prosecutors. As is so often the case in these deals, each side extracts enough to declare victory.

Forget this particular incident for a minute. When a non-decision compromise is reached in any legal case, who exactly is served?
