The End Has Come

Kevin Webster died this morning at home in Cheshire.

Melanee, sensing his shortening breath, brought their four daughters in around 4:00 AM. The whole family was together at Kevin’s bedside until the very end.

They have honored me by asking I help eulogize Kevin at the funeral, Wednesday.

It is a sad day indeed. Please keep Kevin and his family in your prayers.

  1. Geoff,

Sorry for the loss of your good friend Kevin.

From your description of him, he must have been one hell of a guy. Friendship is a two way street and I’m sure he valued you as much as you did him.

  2. Geoff,

I am so sorry for your loss. A true friend is always hard to come by, but it sounds like Kevin was one for sure. Just know, even though he is physically no longer here, he always will be in your heart and that will last forever. I have faith you two will meet again. I know it doesn’t comfort you right now, but always remember that. Keep your chin up Geoff and know Kevin is no longer in pain and I truely beilieve in a better place. His memory will be kept alive by a friend like you and our thoughts and prayers are with you, Kevins family and Kevin.

  3. I am sorry for your loss and will keep you, your family and all those who loved Kevin in my thoughts. I read some of his blog when you posted about it – he sounded like a great guy, and you and those who knew him were blessed to have been a part of his life. I only hope if I am ever in his position I can face life and death with such grace and dignity.

  4. So sad Geoff. Your writings about Kevin were so well done, I feel like I know him personally. This is another reminder to live every day to its fullest, because you just never know. Thoughts and prayers for the family and for all of his friends, especially for close ones like you.
