A Cold Day In New York City

If this isn’t the coldest day of my life, it’s close!

If this isn’t the coldest day of my life, it’s close!

We’re in NYC and have been here all day.  Across the street, fans of the Rangers are pouring out of Madison Square Garden.  We’ve seen Legally Blond the Musical and ridden a Ferris Wheel inside a store.

Lots to talk about… but not tonight.  More tomorrow.

Oh – and thanks for the comments and emails.  The blog looks nothing like it will when it’s done.

  1. I have been cold in my life — I lived in Madison, Wisconsin, for many years, where the wind chill stays below zero for weeks at a time, and I’ve done winter camping in the snow in Colorado and Vermont. But the coldest day I remember is one winter evening waiting for the subway on a windy elevated station in New York City. There’s something about the cold in New York that makes it feel colder than anywhere else.
