Voting On Super Tuesday

I do not like this system at all. I felt no privacy.

I voted in the Super Tuesday primary in the lunchroom of Stef’s old elementary school. This is my second time with the optically scanned paper ballots.

I do not like this system at all. I felt no privacy. I will explain more thoroughly later.

Meanwhile, I have no clue how today’s voting will turn out. If there’s a national trend among the Democrats, I don’t see it.

  1. I don’t like this system either. I feel no privacy at all. When you go to hand in your ballot they remove the folder from you and your choices are out there for the entire world to see. I watched the volunteer look down at my paper.

I loved going to vote with my parents when I was a kid. I remember going behind the magic curtain. Now there are huge signs that say that Children can not touch the paper. Like I was going to let my daughter color on it or something. They watched us like a hawk and told me three times not to let her touch the paper or it would be invalid. I still haven’t figured out why.

I can’t believe that this is the BEST system we can come up with in the year 2008.
