I’ve spent a good part of the day playing with the blog. I am trying to learn and understand techniques I’ll be using for a new website Helaine and I are planning.
With that in mind, here’s a worldwide weather news page that doesn’t already exist… but I thought might be valuable. This is a 24/7 feed of weather related info. I have tried to limit the search terms to give it some utility.
If you use it, your input will be appreciated.
Very cool! I would love to see daily world high and low temperatures too (or even better, by continent). I always find extreme weather of any sort very interesting.
It already exists, and is run by my friend Dr. Robert Hart at Florida State (and the smartest man know). http://www.coolwx.com/extreme
What a great idea! I love it. This would be especially useful if you had family in a particular area that was hard-hit by a natural disaster and wanted to keep up with the latest available information.
Actually, you can set up a Google news search or feed pretty easily to do just that. I have a few of those.
