I just went outside for a quick peek at the eclipsed Moon. Very cool. The moon is dark and musky red.
As eclipses go, this is a minor league event – sorry Moon. Lunar eclipses are much more frequent than their solar eclipse cousins.
I spent about 20 seconds looking up before I went back inside. After all, it’s awful cold tonight in Connecticut.
I’m not sure when the next total solar eclipse (the more impressive daylight variety) comes to Connecticut. I can pretty much guarantee it will be cloudy.
You didn’t go out and use Clicky???
This is one of those situations where bringing my camera would get me nothing that thousands of others with significantly better equipment had already gotten. Alas, Clicky is out of his league versus major league pitching.
I have two photos on my blog, here is the link.

Hi Abdil. Nice shot. You were just on the edge of the total eclipse in Turkey… and it was at a much more convenient time of day here in the states.
