I stumbled across this a few minutes ago, Animoto
Drop in a series of photos (from your hard drive or Flickr/Picasa) and a few minutes later, out comes a video. It’s very cool.
The process takes a little longer than I expected, but a whole lot less time than if I did it manually.
I’m curious what you think, so you’ll find the video and a link to the original photos below.
What a neat tool. Thanks for sharing. After watching both, I must admit, you’ve sold me on the animoto. Same pictures but a much more vivid presentation.
The difference between the “slide” show and animoto is the same difference between a stuffy library and a chic bookstore with a cafe!
Thanks so much for this link. I just made a quick sample of some of my hockey photos and my daughter is already begging me to let her make one. Here was the first test: http://animoto.com/play/m9tKpynQDDihtaWHpwUoDw
I can’t wait to play with this! Thanks for sharing 🙂
This is really neat! Geoff, do you get to pick the music or do they choose it for you? Patty! You did a great job with the hockey photos! Thank you both for sharing. Now you know I have to try it! Thanks! Evi
Gee I shoulda read the comments first – the music woke the wife – hell, it about woke the dead!!! I’ll be more careful at 7AM next time.
: )
I’ve been hearing about Animoto for a few days from some of the geek podcasts I’m listening to. Your post finally pushed me over the edge to give it a try.
I’m really tempted to $ign up so I can do some longer projects.
