I Should Have Seen It Coming At Me Like An Atom Bomb

How exactly does this differ from the mob coming to a shop owner, demanding cash so the store won’t burn down?

There is no commercial currently on TV which bothers me more than those for freecreditreport-dot-com. You know the ones. They’ve got the catchy jingle.

They say a man should dress for the job he wants

so why am I dressed like a pirate in this resurant?

It’s all because some hacker stole my identity

So now I’m stuck here in the evenings servin’ chowder and iced tea

(chorus)

Should have gone to free credit report dot com

I could’ve seen this hit me, like an atom bomb

They’ll monitor your credit,

Send you email alerts

So you don’t get stuck serving fish to tourist in t-shirts

Seems to me, when your identity is stolen, it’s usually the credit bureau or merchant that’s made the error which allowed this to happen. Shouldn’t they take responsibility to get things straightened out?

Guess not, because freecreditreport-dot-com is owned by a credit bureau, Experian. How exactly does this differ from the mob coming to a shop owner, demanding cash so the store won’t burn down?

Yes, it’s free for 7-days. Then it’s $179.40 per year.

I should have seen it coming at me like an atom bomb!
