Red Versus Blue And Krazy Glue

Anything which causes confusion with a product so widely used and so scarily sticky is bad

I’m just looking at my traffic counter. It’s a growth spurt day. Consumerist has sent a few thousand readers my way after picking up my red cap, blue cap Crazy Glue post.

It’s not that having the wrong cap listed is so horrendous, it’s just that anything which causes confusion with a product so widely used and so scarily sticky is bad. If even a tiny fraction of a percent of Krazy Glue users treat it improperly because they’re still searching for the red cap, that’s a lot of people.

Most people when faced with harm take no solace in finding they’re part of a very small percentage.

Anyway, welcome Consumerist readers. I, like you, love that site.

  1. Geoff-

    A minor item!

You mentioned the increased number of hits your site has had recently. I am using IE 7, and noted that your site counter was not visible. “Oddly”, your hit counter did appear when I went to this page, to submit my comment.

When I went to your blog, via Mozilla it was always shown.

Congrats on hits nearing 2 million!
