Complex Weather

I’m not asking for more time, because even if I had it, no one could process it all the info.

I have written about this before, but it came to mind today with a complex weather scenario on the way. I know more about the upcoming weather than I can possibly explain!

It wasn’t always this way. Back in the ‘good old days’ my information was a little more spongy and changeable. Nowadays I have lots of specifics–times, places, temperatures. The resolution is higher and accuracy (though nowhere near perfect) better.

The problem is, if I tried to give an hour-by-hour timeline I’d run out of time. I’m not asking for more time, because even if I had it, no one could process it all the info. This scenario is so complex most people won’t be able to accurately describe the twists and turns after it’s over!

Recently I’ve been using the word “nasty” a lot to describe just this type of outlook. Maybe that’s the way to go? Maybe less is more?

  1. Jeff, from someone who grew up in Ireland and now calls Connecticut his home, this just reminds me (and I speak of the Irish weather in particular, cause it can change very fast)of how the weather does whatever the weather wants to do. I guess that’s part of the beauty of living in New England. Wild, wacky and of course very wonderful.

    Martin.

  2. “Nasty” always makes one perk up and pay attention. Better when not applied to weather, however. COME VISIT – ITS WARM – DISNEYLAND IS BEAUTIFUL THIS TIME OF YEAR – WE MISS YOU
