I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about finances recently. Who hasn’t?
I haven’t run the numbers–don’t have the guts. I suspect if you subtract my 401-K losses from my salary, I’ve come out even or behind this year. In essence zero income or less.
I did everything the ‘wise guys’ suggested and ended up the sap! If I would have squandered and bought everything I wanted when I wanted it I’d be better off than I am now. In the real world taking vacations and buying lenses would have worked out better than saving for retirement.
Isn’t that sad?
