We have been invaded. An army of seven or eight guys has begun work downstairs in the final thrust of our reconstruction. Our hardwood floors are getting refinished.
Supposedly this is a dustless process. How can you sand wood and not get dust? God, I hope they’re right!
As the work goes along and chemistry enters into the picture we’ll be best off outta here. We leave in an hour or so. Our plane is listed on-time. The Sun is shining (or soon will be) at our destination.
My thoughts are mostly with Helaine right now. Though I’ve been living through thie tumult too, I know its effect on me is nothing compared to the effect on her. A few days away and we can get back to normal for the first time since December!
