We started walking the mountain again last week. Then came the rains. A break this morning allowed us to resume. We hadn’t been up since last Thursday.

It took a while last year before I was able to go the distance without a midpoint break. I only had to do that once so far this year. We were up on top and sitting at the picnic table in the “castle” in under 26 minutes.

Helaine and I chatted most of the way up an back. We covered everything from the Phils to Stef’s upcoming college graduation.

I wouldn’t be doing this without Helaine’s encouragement and company. I enjoy spending the time with her.
