Trying To Get Back In The Rhythm

This is why major leaguers go to spring training. There is a rhythm to what they do and what I do that doesn’t come back instantly.

I’ll be taking a shower and getting ready for work within the hour. In the meantime I’m on the sofa&#185 looking at weather charts and maps.

Hmmmm… school delays or cancellations Wednesday morning. Snow to rain. Then cold and blustery Thursday and Friday.

This is why major leaguers go to spring training. There is a rhythm to what they do and what I do that doesn’t come back instantly. In my case I’m syncing myself with the rhythm of the atmosphere.

The atmosphere is constantly in motion trying to find equilibrium. It’s never stable for long.

&#185 – Roxie too is on the sofa. I watched her climb up a few minutes ago. We are very surprised she’s figured out how to do this since, even at her nearly full grown size, she’s small–especially compared to the height of the sofa.

  1. Glad to have you back, Geoff. Hope Vegas was fun. Now, can you tell me if we’re going to have a white Christmas?
