December Thaw Photography

I pulled out the camera, monopod and a new lens Santa brought and walked to the brook.

A week after snow, a day after rain, the Sun came out over Connecticut this afternoon. The snow, which covered my lawn last night, has virtually vanished. The lawn is squishy. Jepps Brook, which I photograph all the time, is a raging rapid.

I pulled out the camera, monopod and a new lens (Tamron 70-200mm f/2.4) Santa brought and walked to the brook.

On days like today you can break cabin fever temporarily and take in the beauty of nature.
