Aggressive Chewer: The Video

This toy is like a Frisbee with a thick and tough rope around the perimeter. Roxie loves it!

As mentioned about a zillion times Roxie is an aggressive chewer. It’s tough to buy toys that last. Think pit bull not dachshund.

Stef has learned to avoid anything that’s stuffed or has doo-dads hanging off. Cute and practical are at opposite polls.

  1. I have a Dachshund too and he’s very aggressive when it comes to toys. I can buy the strongest toys and he will manage to rip through it somehow. Rusty just can’t let the toy go, if I take it away from him, he goes crazy, he can’t stand still, can’t sleep and so on. I have to hide it in the freezer so he can’t track the smell and he somehow knows where it is and stands by the refrigerator waiting for his toy. When he doesn’t have a toy for days, he’s fine but when I do give him one he’s very aggressive and I don’t know if it’s a good thing. I’m wondering if I should STOP giving him toys altogether.
