Closet Culling Part II

I was dressed… OK, I was undressed to facilitate trying stuff on. No one will ever cast me as the pizza delivery guy in an adult film.

“What is it about guys?” Helaine asked. “They don’t care about being nude. I don’t even like to shower naked.”

We were in the bedroom. The culling of clothes had reached its second stage moving from collared shirts and pants to more casual clothes. I was dressed… OK, I was undressed to facilitate trying stuff on. No one will ever cast me as the pizza delivery guy in an adult film.

It was like an archeological dig. The lower in the pile we delved the older the clothing.

I have worked at the TV station over a quarter century. Nearly every year I was given a casual shirt or two for live shots. It doesn’t look like I ever threw one out…until today.

The most interesting find of the afternoon: t-shirts. Here’s a sample of some of the best.

  1. DON’T Throw those out, those are some sweet retro t-shirts, you can sell them for sure. Although I wouldn’t mind taking them from you for the price of shipping.

  2. Seriously, what Eric said. But if there is a CT broadcasting museum, they’d probably appreciate the donation. It’s an interesting item for a lot of reasons…

  3. If you can handle the chance she might say No, there’s a nice young lady on the WC that might like to have them.
