Noah, Ann and I walked across the New Haven Green for dinner tonight. It’s beautiful and comfortable. We were looking to eat outside.
Twice as we walked I stopped. I’m not even sure Ann and Noah noticed as I pulled out my phone and took a few shots. Both are from my iPhone and both use HDR, a technique for increasing the tonal range so there’s detail in darks and brights (not normally the case with digital photography).
The sculpture sits behind the Giaimo Federal Office Building in a courtyard between Orange and Church Streets. The church itself is on College Street on the far side of the green.
