When friends visit the TV station they usually say they want to be in the studio. I know better. I always let them watch a little from the control room.

  1. First, a Happy Halladay season to you and yours. Is it more distracting for on-air folks to have a stranger in the set area? I wouldn’t like it- but what do I know. Are the control room folks so engrossed that it doesn’t matter to them? Do those guys curse in your ears or ever almost crack you up? I heard that the Morning Joe producer would make Rahm Emanuel blush- and that Joe and company have to contain themselves when they hear him call another network and blister them for overholding a guest…and the like. What’s it like Geoff? It seems gentile at home.

  2. Thanks for sharing this Geoff. My son is studying this technology in college. I am going to share it with some friends who don’t understand what his degree is actually for!

  3. You should post a bit more… I’m more than curious as to how the Ignite guys run their system. We go OverDrive in about a week.
