We are settled in the family room in front of the TV. It’s the Eagles versus the Cowboys from Dallas. To an Eagles fan the Cowboys are the Evil Empire!
I tweeted a friend in California. He’s a Giants fan.
Would never root for the Cowboys but will be rooting against the Eagles. The Zen of fandom.
There’s a lot of that friend of my friend/enemy of my enemy stuff this time of year in the NFL.
Speaking of tweeting I’ve opened two search windows on Twitter. Parallel columns are displayed one for any Eagle mention, the other for Cowboys.

And right before the game starts, the transformer at the end of the street blows. No power. We’ll be out for 5 or 6 hours.
Luckily my AT&T Uverse has a great battery backup so internet is running and my laptop has at least 2 hours of power. Watching the game via atdhe.net.
The boys from UI have come through! Now the Cowboys need to keep it going.
