Dinner With The Boys

It’s difficult to explain, but a relationship that runs this long has a deep level of comfort you can’t get any other way.

There’s a reason I’ve been coming to California once or twice a year forever. These guys! Pictured above are my friends Howard and…. OK, I can show his picture but I haven’t yet received “name permission” so let’s just say it’s my secret friend from “The Valley.”

We met in college and have been friends ever since. Last night we went out for dinner at a local Italian restaurant on Sepulveda in Sherman Oaks.

It’s difficult to explain, but a relationship that runs this long has a deep level of comfort you can’t get any other way.

They are my life consultants.

Addendum: Ann Nyberg who was emailed this photo last night notes there are doggie bags on the table. Are there no secrets anymore?

  1. “It’s difficult to explain, but a relationship that runs this long has a deep level of comfort you can’t get any other way.” My sentiments exactly, Geoff! Feels like you have been a part of our family for 26 years. What WILL we do without you! Great picture! Looks like you are having a great time! Enjoy, you SO deserve it!

  2. hahaha I didn’t notice the bags. Good job calling Geoff out Ann 🙂 You guys are the best!! and Geoff its great to see you are enjoying yourself, you deserve it more than anything!!!

  3. Funny- I think we all need life consultants. I have a few mutual consulting arrangements. These consultants give better advice than anyone.

  4. I would venture a guess that the “secret friend” might be an actual family member… I detect quite a resemblance between GF and “Mr. X”…
