The Devil Wears Product

As I was leaving Francine told me not to use a brush anymore. I have been commanded to use gel then my fingers.

I visited Francine today to get my hair cut. I had the presence of mind to take before and after shots. Now her magic is revealed!

The first time I went to the shop directly from the shower they were surprised. My natural curl is really evident. I’ve worked most of my life trying to hide it. Not sure why.

As I was leaving Francine told me not to use a brush anymore. I have been commanded to use gel then my fingers. Product! She wants me to use product.

“I don’t use gel,” I told her.

I do now.

  1. I’m with Francine. Use product! Good to see your smiling face once again. Still wish it was on-air tho, as I’m sure you do too.

  2. I think it looks good either way – but Product is in! I’ve gone over to the ‘no comb, finger-scrunch only’ side too – saves a good 30 seconds a day, which of course is the time I’m now using to write the Greaat American Novel.

  3. Ah, you always look awesome no matter what. You’d be great with curly hair, straight hair, “producted” hair, no hair!!! I’m with Diane K. Wish I was seeing you back on the air! 😀

  4. Product is in, so they tell me……..I like the look and have often considered it myself……But after cleaning my bathroom after my wife and daughter use their “productS” and replacing the motor on an exhaust fan after a year, which was completely gummed up with “product” and walking in there some mornings and feeling like I need to call a chemical spill into the DEP……..I wonder what all these “products” do to our heads ?!?!?!!?!

  5. New haircut looks great! I have curly hair too, and product saves me from looking like a dandelion that’s gone to seed.

  6. I like the look with the gel. We miss you on tv. I keep seeing
the commercial for the free gas contest. They seem to run that
one and the Dr. Mel endorsement one during my favorite show
Judge Judy ( my kids think I am crazy) but I like it on when
I make dinner. I work from home so I need to keep somewhat
    sane.
