Letting The Irish In Me Out

Won’t I be embarrassed if the weather stinks!

The folks from the Connecticut Irish Festival, Feis and Agricultural Fair have asked me be their emcee Sunday June 26 in North Haven. Absolutely!

Won’t I be embarrassed if the weather stinks!

Here’s their press release (minus an oversized photo of me). Affable is a word never used to describe me until now!

COME MEET GEOFF FOX – SUNDAY, JUNE 26

(North Haven)  The Connecticut Irish Festival, Feis & Agricultural Fair will feature a special appearance by the popular WTIC FOX-CT meteorologist, Geoff Fox, at the North Haven Fair Grounds, Washington Avenue (Route 5).  The affable television personality will “meet and greet” fans at 4:00 pm before introducing Sunday’s musical headliner, The Clancy Legacy, at 5:30 pm.   A full schedule of activities for the festival is at www.ctirishfestival.com

  1. I believe that same term was used to describe Matt Scott in the Advocate awhile back… I have no doubt that, over your long forecasting career, you’ve been called much worse… ☺

  2. I went few years back, they had a tanker truck filled with Smithwicks and Guinness, tasted extremely fresh, best I’ve had this side of the Atlantic.

  3. Ah, that’s my little dogs birthday. I’m hoping for good weather too. You are the talent in demand. So happy for you Geoff.
