Where’s Carmageddon?

Starting Monday the big story will be the complaints from businesses whose weekend take was crushed as everyone stayed in place.

That’s my secret friend and his wife on the news! The photo he’s taking is on the right!

There are 500,000 cars and their passengers seemingly missing in Los Angeles today. It’s supposed to be Carmageddon. Ten miles on the 405 are closed! It’s supposed to be a weekend of gridlock. As it turns out, it’s nothing!

Yogi Berra understood:

It’s so crowded, nobody goes there.

The attached photo (courtesy: secret friend in The Valley) shows Sepulvada Blvd in Sherman Oaks. Sepulvada runs parallel with the closed 405. No one’s there! Everyone’s home.

  1. They’d complain if nobody listened and swarmed the place, they’ll complain ’cause everyone listened and stayed away…..

  2. You just spelled it wrong Geoff… it’s supposed to be Karmageddeon.. It’s like the end of the world… but you deserved it…
