My Opinion Hasn’t Changed

I’ve attached one output from the 8:00 AM (1200 Z) run–the latest full run available. It’s shows snowfall accumulation through 2:00 AM EDT.

We’ve reached the moment before a storm when I can’t get out of bed (even briefly) without checking the numbers. Immediately prior to a storm should be when the new High Resolution Rapid Refresh model shines. It’s high res in both space and time with a 3km grid and 15 minute time steps. It doesn’t even cover a full 24 hours, but the HRRR runs every hour.

More later. I’m going to try and get a little more sleep before I go to work this afternoon. See you later on FoxCT.
