The Basement Radio Station

I can’t say much, but the station is connected to a well known concert venue. It is not at the venue.

“It’s in my basement,” my friend said. “It’s in an iMac with a 2 Tarrabyte drive.”

A friend is involved with a start-up Internet radio station. They’re testing now. In fact I’m listening to their unintended silence as I type this!

Crashed? It’s possible, or I hit something wrong here.

I can’t give details, but the station is connected to a well known concert venue. It is not at the venue.

I was in radio for 11 years before I moved to TV. Radio still flows through my veins. I’m not sure I’m ready for a station coming to you directly from a beefy server in my friend’s basement.

However, good acoustics down there.

  1. I did college radio many moon ago, and I did enjoy it. I kind of miss it. You’re right – it gets in your blood. Hope the station came back on for you to enjoy
