Getting My Hair Cut Was A Test

Today’s haircut was a test run. Except for doctors appointments (and my hospital stay) I’ve been a shut-in early August!

Getting my hair cut tested my ability to sit in a chair. Until today sitting was limited to ten minutes or so.

I love Francine, but ten minutes? Seriously! We were going to stretch the envelope.

I went to Branford today. Francine, Queen of Hair at Allusions, did her best to make me more presentable. It’s been a while since my locks were shorn.

This shouldn’t be a big deal, but it is.

The doctor’s orders on my driving are clear. Helaine was at the wheel.

There was a little pain after I got out of the car, but I was able to ‘walk it out.’

All-in-all today’s trip was a success. It’s a first step toward returning to my normal routine and my hair looks fab!

  1. Really hope you get back to work soon. Really want to hear more about the weather with the upcoming winter coming. Glad you are doing well, but really really want to hear your take on the weather!

  2. Glad you did well on that “test”. Seems the healing is taking. Slow and steady, Geoff! Healing thoughts and prayers continue as always!
