Under the right conditions you can see more than rain or snow on the radar. This afternoon you can see the seabreeze penetrating inland.
This totally agrees with ground observations, like Waterbury/Oxford Airport where the breeze was out of the northwest until the seabreeze pushed through. Now the wind is from the southwest.
This time of year the temperature difference between land and water makes the seabreeze more noticable and is adding to today’s humid discomfort.
