The Foxes Are Heading Back Into Winter

melissaMy niece Melissa is expecting. This weekend is her baby shower. We’re heading to Milwaukee where it’s still winterish.

I’ll let the Weather Service forecasters try to polish this turd of a forecast.

WE WILL HAVE A PROLONGED PERIOD OF WET WEATHER THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

Great!

We will see no sunshine in Wisconsin. Most of the weekend will be rainy. There’s a chance for snow late Sunday into Monday, though not much. That’s when we fly home.

It makes no difference. My parents are there, plus my sister and her family. Four generations together. It’s totally worthwhile. We’re very excited.

Of course I’m saying that in the abstract. A little winter might change my attitude.

Departure is VERY early tomorrow morning.

  1. Awe come I’m Geoff ypu have been in sunny CA for the miserable winter everyone else endured a little cold wet weather won’t kill you! Maybe make you greatful you left that kind of weather but hey it’s only a weekend and you get to be with family!!!! 🙂
    Enjoy!

  2. It does look like the upper Midwest and northern Rockies will get the lousy weather in the coming days. Denver could be looking at 6 inches of snow.

On the other hand – we on the East Coast will be basking in some old fashioned Bermuda High spring weather: Clear skies, sunshine and temps that are forecast to hit 70 F in places like NYC, New Haven, and Trenton, NJ should help spread the spring fever. Places further south like Washington, DC , Richmond,…etc could crack 80 F!
