Mitt’s Back

If you support Trump, I sort of understand. I grew up in a time when a brass mill workers in Waterbury, Connecticut made a good living and could afford homes and vacations. If you worked at Macy’s you made a decent living with opportunities for advancement. Those jobs don’t exist anymore.

I watched this morning as Mitt Romney took Donald Trump down a notch. Romney was not trying to convince Trump supporters to abandon their man. That’s not going to happen. He wanted to wake those who’ve mostly sat on the sidelines and watched.

You can’t go after Trump supporters. Yours is not a fact based love affair. Donald Trump represents your emotion: frustration.

Our country is very complex. So many moving parts all in motion at the same time. And we have friends and neighbors around the world. America’s Facebook page would say, “it’s complicated.”

What his opponents say is right. Trump’s a con man, a fraud.

There’s no doubt, Donald Trump will have more political impact on America than any other American in any of our lifetimes. The Republican Party of the Koch Brothers, Rush Limbaugh and Sheldon Adelson is in big trouble.
