What an unbelievable Monday Night Football game!
Sure, I’m a former Eagles season ticket holder, and Helaine and I watch or listen or follow on the PC every Eagles game, but this game was a real battle between two highly motivated teams. Played in awful, rainy, cold weather at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, neither team could get moving in a decisive fashion. The sloppy conditions added a random factor to the game… though Green Bay was definitely less sure handed.
As is her custom when the Eagles fall behind, Helaine turned off the TV sound and watched in silence. I know it was tough for her and she saw every possibility of the Eagles losing.
Finally, however, it was Donovan McNabb who moved the team 65 yards in under 2 minutes for the win.
I love this game.
