In January I went to Blue Diamond, NV with my cousins. We were there to take some photos. It was 28°! We didn’t last long.
We went back last night. There were a few clouds (and burros). That actually added to the photos. It was also around 60°! That didn’t hurt either.
This is some of my best night sky work. I hope you enjoy.
Wow! Billions and billions….
Wow Love it. We miss out on all this in the cities and towns. This one of the best shows we can see .Thanks for sharing Geoff

Wow! Awesome pics. Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
The first and third are my favorites but they are all beautiful….. I really really really like the first. I’d blow that up and hang it somewhere.
Do you print out and keep a book of any of your pictures??
Beautiful Photos
Incredible, surreal photos!
AWESOME! I’d hang them on my wall too.
Wonderful photos, Geoff!
I am surprised that you didn’t add—Name those Constellations–or will you save that for a science moment. Did you have the camera on a tripod? and what was your exposure time. I always remember the zillions of stars one could see while riding through the desert between LA and LV.That was when you didn’t have 1/4 the glitter that Vegas has now. anyhow—Great shots. I too would like to blow them up and frame them!
