Helaine managed to get to bed at a decent hour, but when I was going to sleep at 4:25 AM, I noticed Steffie was also just getting ready for bed. With my ‘normal’ hours, jet lag will be a little less difficult to fight.
Our last look at Las Vegas, as the plane sped down the runway, was of a hot, dry place. That weather didn’t come back with us to Connecticut. Last night we drove back from the airport in the rain. We had left in the rain as well!
Each time we go to the desert, it becomes more difficult to face gloomy skies and puddles.
I will go downstairs in a few minutes to turn the timer on the sprinklers off. No need to tap the well tonight.
