Sometime in the middle of the night Helaine and I woke up. Thunder… loud crashes. The rain came down in buckets. Unfortunately, there’s still rain now (though weather.com’s rendition of the radar shows it as snow).
We’re going to have breakfast before heading out and I assume the rain will soon be gone. Still, in an area like this, heavy rain is felt long after it leaves.
We had dodged the weather bullet up to this point. I guess we’re not bulletproof.
