Let’s establish two things right off the bat. I’ve been forecasting snow for tonight all week. My car, the little 9-year old SLK cannot be driven in snow. It once spun out at 5 mph in flurries (true – no exaggeration).
So then, how can I explain bringing it to work tonight?
After our early news, I buzzed up to Hamden, took Helaine’s SUV and headed back.
As much as I’d like to think I’m good for all circumstances, Helaine would have said something before I headed to the garage. This would have been a non-event.
you didn’t see her note on the windshield of the SUV- “In case of snow, drive me.”
