I was up with the TV on when President Bush made his short statement on the economy today. Unless you were watching live you didn’t see him walk alone down the path to the podium and walk away when he was finished (avoiding questions from reporters). I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anyone look more alone–more isolated.
It’s really sad for all of us.
Why would you be sad?
Because we’re all suffering from what he has just discovered.
