I just got a spam email. Nothing strange there. They get through Gmail’s filters from time-to-time. This one got through because it was pranged. It was improperly formatted and came as a jumble of computerific garbage.
I looked at it and felt sad. It is the computer equivalent of that one sad bag at the airport all alone on the conveyor.
From a more pragmatic view so many people have been inconvenienced so this truly worthless email could move through the system. It’s likely the computer sending it isn’t under enough direct control to stop it and fix the error. Some day the computer’s owner will realize he’s been had, but that could take forever!
